Flushing is proud of one of its most heartwarming traditions — the Annual Flushing Candlewalk. The Candlewalk first began over a decade ago and has grown into one of the counties largest events! Over 10,000 softly glowing candles will light your way (for over 5 miles!), along the streets of Flushing, a sight not to be missed! Two evenings of carriage rides, holiday singers, choirs, magicians, ice sculptures, refreshments, and hayrides are the business owners way of saying “thank-you” to the community.
You’ll find chestnuts roasting on an open fire in the middle of Main Street and Santa Claus arriving in a grand parade to light the ceremonial Christmas tree. The Flushing Candlewalk is a beautiful tradition for all generations.

Sponors
It’s that time of year again to start preparing for the 27th annual Flushing Chamber Candlewalk. Last year’s Candlewalk was voted the “Favorite Community Event” in Genesee County by the readers of the Flint Journal. We need your help to maintain that honor this year. The Candlewalk is NOT possible without the support of our local businesses and we cannot begin to explain the impact that you have on this event.
Our committee has been focused on expanding this event along with providing new ways to promote your business and the town of Flushing. We are partnering with local charities to help raise awareness of the need this Community and County has.
Listed below are sponsorship applications, contest applications and a Santa Parade application. We encourage you to get involved with as many contests and events as possible to better promote your business. Again this year, we are offering ice sculpted business logos (limited space is available)!
We look forward to working with each of you on the Annual Candlewalk! We expect nothing but an absolute success for our community, our families and the children whose lives will be touched. If you are interested in getting more involved with the planning process please contact the chamber office at 810.659.4141.
These two evenings of Holiday entertainment, refreshments and activities are made possible by the Flushing Area Business and Organizations and MANY WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS.
