Flushing is proud of one of its most heartwarming traditions -- the Annual Christmas Candlewalk. This event has been part of Flushing history of over a decade and is one of the most largely attended events of its kind in the entire county. Over 10,000 softly glowing candles will light your way (for over 5 miles!), along the streets of Flushing, a sight not to be missed! Two evenings of carriage rides, holiday singers, choirs, magicians, ice sculptures, refreshments, and hayrides are the business owners way of saying "thank-you" to the community. You'll find chestnuts roasting on an open fire in the middle of Main Street and Santa Claus arriving in a grand parade to light the ceremonial Christmas tree. The Community Candlewalk is a beautiful tradition for all generations.
These two evenings of Holiday entertainment, refreshments and activities are made possible by the Flushing Area Business and Organizations and MANY WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS.
